Yup, all three of us have come down with nasty colds.
If you could hear our house, it's a cold symphony.
A rather loud one.
I feel sorry for our neighbors.
We apologize if you have to be around us...
and wont be offended if you keep your distance.

Seth and I saw this last night in 3D.
Wow...
Seriously! "Wow" is all I can really say!
The show was GREAT! I had heard so many good things about it, so I was really excited that we were able to go!
If you haven't seen it, and are thinking that it's better to just wait till it comes out on video...
It's not.
GO SEE IT while it's still 3D!
Teaching Ballroom
I love ballroom.
Have I mentioned that?
I think I have.
Pretty sure.
I love it so much, that I've decided to teach it.
And so, I will be!
Saturdays at our church building.
For free.
I love it that much.

Porter the Playful
Porter is a very playful little boy.
If he's not playing with Daddy...
He certainly is a smarty-pants...a goofball...and a tease.

Since We've Returned
I have honestly felt like a chicken with its head cut off.
Total cliche, but truth.
I've felt like I need a vacation from my vacation.
Crazy, I know.
Seth and I spent the first week home trying to readjust and catch up to where we left off before the vacation.
Then Porter got sick.
Then the computer crashed.
Then my to-do list just kept getting longer...
...and longer...
...and even though it's initially shorter than it originally was, it's still strangely growing.
Second week home...much of the same thing.
I will catch up.
I hope.

Long Day of Travel
The day before school started, we left for home. Porter was pretty good in he car! I was glad.
We actually got to the airport pretty early...4 hours early, but it was a good thing because we ended up taking about an hour and a half just to get to the gate.
We were still there long enough that Porter got bored. We walked around on the moving sidewalks with him to entertain.
Being the cutie-pie he is, one of the officers couldn't help but offer him a sticker...
Don't be messin' 'round this officer!
Twice!
PS: He's got a new molar

Kenny & Andrea
Seth, Porter, and I travelled to Utah with Clark, LaRene, and Jake.
We had the great opportunity to go to Kenny's and Andrea's wedding!
What a good-looking couple!
We're not too bad either ;)
It was a beatiful ceremony.
Porter did really well in the waiting room, but he was certainly happy when we came to get him...
...but even happier when he saw his uncle Jake!
He kept himself pretty occupied during pictures, too...
On this quick weekend trip, I ran into 5 people I knew! 3 of whom I grew up with, one from Oregon, and one from college!
Kristi!!
She had the pleasure of being around when I actually had my camera with me :)
Her cousin was getting married that same day! Crazy.
Congrats Kenny and Andrea!!

New Years Resolutions 2010
Let's see...what do I want to accomplish this year?
1. Stick to my healthier lifestyle. I find I fall from habits after doing them for a while. I don't think I will this time, but I will make a goal to stick to it anyway.
2. Make time to really ponder what I read in the scriptures. That's a long one. I read and ponder while I read, but after, I don't really give it a whole lot of thought. Maybe if I take some time each day to sort of review what I learned that day, it'll stick with me more.
3. Be punctual. Yup. We're gonna try this one again.
4. Limit time wasted. When I have nothing to do, I sit on the computer...play some games...mainly Farmtown...watch shows online...pretty much any show that interests me, really. I need to have down time, yes, but I dont need hours and hours of it.
I think that's good enough for this year :)
Happy New Year!

New Years Resolutions 2009 2.0
Remember these?
Well...
...here's how I did!
Goal #1: Be Healthier~I work out. In fact, I've lost 25 pounds! I eat healthier. I can still do better in the eating dept. But, I can safely say I've reached that goal. Pass!
Goal #2: Study the scriptures more~honestly, I can't say I've "studied" them more, but I am definitely reading them more. I now read an article out of the Ensign every morning before working out, and I read the scriptures every night before bed. Like goal #1, I can do better. As far as reaching this goal goes...probably not as much as the first goal...but I will pass myself anyway since I'm the judge of this whole thing in the first place ;)
Goal #3: Be punctual~Still about the same as I was last year with this one. I was BETTER at being on time, but I'm still falling way short. Fail.
Goal #4: Be organized~I have a daily schedule including daily chores, a weekly menu, a monthly budget, the apartment is relatively decent at all times when not going crazy busy with a million concerts in two weeks time...and I even have the whole year's worth of songs scheduled for the Primary! I'd say that's a pass. I still waste time sometimes, though...
I realize this is more for me than anyone else. I find it's actually quite motivating to write these down publicly.

Type 2
Because you're all going to find out eventually, if you didn't know already...
Seth has Type 2 Diabetes.
He found out right after we arrived in Casper, pretty much.
Out of the blue decision to check his blood sugar...
...which was dangerously high.
I'm glad he did.

Hanging Out
Porter had a lot of fun playing with all of the family!
He especially enjoyed having sword fights...
...silly boy.

Photographer
...for a day :)
I actually had a lot of fun taking pictures!
Maybe I've found something I might want to get into more.
I'm definitely no pro...
...but, I figured I'd share some of my favorites of the day.

Chistmas Break
For Christmas break, Seth and I are in Wyoming with family! We have enjoyed Christmas, the snow, and being together! We hope all of you are having just as much fun as we are! Because of how active the family is (and those of you who know the Jensen family know what I mean) I will not be able to spend the time needed to update the blog...but if I happen to find the time...for instance at this moment...I will try to.
**you will have to scroll down to see some of the posts because I will date them as close to the date of the actual event as much as I can.**
Here's what to look forward to:

Giving and Receiving
Christmas afternoon...
Yes, I said afternoon.
We had a very relaxing Christmas. Jealous?
...we divided up the gifts, took turns, and enjoyed the gifts.
LaRene got a very soft gift that Wyatt wanted to get in on...
The most favorite gift out of the toddlers was Porter's Little People Bus!
Merry Christmas!!!
