Our Angel Babies

Some time between the appointment on my birthday and the next morning, our sweet girls passed away.

They were delivered stillborn on June 22nd.

Jilinda LaRene came first at 10:58 and Alayna Julienne was only a half hour behind her because she was breech.

The are absolutely gorgeous, perfect, and pure.

We will miss them terribly, but we know that we will get to see them again and raise them.

We are so grateful for that knowlege given to us and can hardly wait for that joyous day of our reunion.

We know that they are watching over us as our little angels.

Love you, my sweet, beautiful little Jilinda.

Love you my spirited, lovely little Alayna.

"The Lord takes many away, even in infancy, that they may escape the envy of man and the sorrows and evils of this present world; they were too pure, too lovely, to live on earth; therefore, if rightly considered, instead of mourning we have reason to rejoice as they are delivered from evil, and we shall soon have them again." -Joseph Smith Jr.

Love the quote at the end. Isn't that just one of the most beautiful principles of the gospel? Still, here's another hug for the brave mama. *Hug.* :-)

Beautiful post Sierra. What amazing perspective you have already. What an example you both are to us. May the Lord be with you to carry you at this most difficult time.

That's a beautiful quote from Joseph Smith. It brings tears to my eyes. The gospel is amazing and I am so glad that you are able to have the surety of it and that Seth is a priesthood holder. I cannot fathom what you are feeling right now, but I do know that the knowledge you have of the gospel will make it easier to bear. Our continued thoughts and prayers are with you and your sweet family.

Oh, Sierra. I just couldn't believe it when I heard. My heart is broken for you and Seth. I'm glad you guys were able to go back home and be with family at such a sorrowful time. Words are not enough to express my deepest sympathy for your pain. Like you said in the post-- they were pure, and they will always remain so. They were too pure for this world. Love to you both.

That quote brought me to tears. It is a beautifully writen gospel truth. Truly, you are being so strong, so faithful, so true. I am so thankful for your example. You are a splendid family and your faith will see you through the sorrow and disappointment life brings sometimes.

Oh, Sierra! I'm so sorry you have to go through this! We are lucky to have the gospel in times like these. It will only be a matter of time before you see your sweet girls again. You're in my prayers!
