We had more people we didn't know following this blog than ones we did.
Let's just say, we're a little uncomfortable with that.
SO, I have gotten rid of that little gadget.
This blog is more for people we know than for people we don't know.
Not that people we don't know can't read it, but if you read it and don't make yourself known, don't you think that's suspicious?
To those who followed it and we didn't know you, I find that kinda...weird.
Especially since there was following and no commenting...

A little posting after publishing...
I may have been a bit unclear in my description above...It's only this blog that we think it's strange to be a follower in the follower's gadget when you don't know our family and don't make yourself known/try to get to know us, because this blog is about us as a family and what we do. I have a creations blog at signaturecreationsbysierra.blogspot.com where I don't mind if I don't know you and you become a follower. It's an idea blog for whomever. Over there, it's still okay to be a follower. Over here, we're being a bit more wary so as to protect our family. I mean, I look at crafty inspiration blogs of people I've never met all the time for ideas and that doesn't bother me. I don't think it bothers them either since the blog is especially for that. It's the family blogs where I find it strange.
Also, if it went unnoticed, I happen to have a "copyright" over to the left that is a reminder to whomever may happen upon our cute little blog...

understandable, it's your blog. I mean it's just your life your laying out here :) I don't follow anyone I don't know cause I'd find that...well weird and a bit boring to peek into a strangers life. But different strokes for different folks though I suppose.
Sierra, well I must be a creepy blogger then-because I love reading blogs...esp. at night when I've got some down time to mom blog surf...and I'm horrible at commenting but I love all the inspiration and ideas from other mom's blogs...so I guess I need to start identifying myself so people don't get creeped out. I'll just see a cool topic or posting on someone's blog I know...and then click over to someone else's and read what I thought was cool...I've gotten some good design ideas and parenting ideas...even some good outing/vacation ideas from people I don't know. But I can see how that might be wierd to some...I guess in blog land anything goes. We did try to do the private thing for a while...but with the privacy options to exclude ourselves from google searches...unless someone typed specifically in "thefivejennes"...there's not a way people could find us unless they (like me) clicked on a link from someone else's blog scroll...ah, well. Also too many people thought it was inconvenient and just wouldn't log on anymore...which is not horrible, it's just fun to have comments every once in a while.
Luke just told me you are having twins! Congrats! I have 3 neighbors having twins...there must be something going on I don't know about...where do I sign up??? :)
Okay I am just wondering...are you taking your blog private or are you just putting that out there for people? Let me know, because if you go private then I would like to be added :) Thanks!
